Carneddi Road is a painting by Emma Knowles.
It was shown in the 2019 Wales Contemporary Exhibition at Waterfront Gallery, Milford Haven & the Mall Galleries in London.
Emma currently lives in Manchester, but was brought up in North Wales.
Her parents moved to North Wales in the mid 1970s, first to Bethesda,
where Emma went to Primary school . The house she lived in was a long mile
and a half round trip walk to the primary school and back.
Not a forgiving place in winter, she remembers the cold, wind , and the rain on many of those walks in the bleak Welsh hillside of Bethesda.
The Carneddi Road in Bethesda was part of that walk when she was a little girl.
